CAN I SEE AND FEEL YOUR WETSUITS SOMEWHERE?All of our wetsuits are made-to-order so we don’t have our full range on display, but you can come and see samples of some of our wetsuit range and feel our materials at our workshop in Glenfield, Auckland. We can also take your measurements to help you find the best size for you. You can swing by any time Mon-Sat, 9am-5pm without an appointment.
-
WHAT SIZE WETSUIT AM I?Please carefully check out our size chart at the bottom of this page to find your best size according to your measurements. This may be different to the size you typically wear in other wetsuit brands. Please follow the measurement instructions contained in the size chart to make sure you are measuring in the correct places. You will need a 150cm measuring tape (you can buy these cheaply from the supermarket) and a friend to take your measurements. It is important that you do not take your own measurements. If you are between sizes and not sure which size to order, give us a call for some advice on which size to choose. Or, if you live locally feel free to drop in to our workshop where we will happily take your measurements to help you find the best size for you.

TRYING ON A NEW WETSUITPut your wetsuit on from the bottom-up, feet first, pulling it up inch-by-inch and making sure that the seams are not twisted, that the knee-pads line up over your knees without any wrinkles behind your knees, and that it’s not bunching around your crotch. You want a snug fit, but your suit shouldn’t be so tight that your range of movement is impaired. Remember that your suit will loosen up and feel more comfortable once you’re in the water.

WHAT IF MY ITEM DOESN'T FIT?WETSUITS AND APPAREL ITEMS: First, see our guide to trying on your wetsuit (above) and make sure you're putting it on properly. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for items that don't fit, as each item is made-to-order. However, if you are having trouble with the way your suit fits, please get in touch with us as soon as possible, at the latest within one month of receiving your wetsuit, to see if we can help alter the suit to fit you. SUPPORTS AND ACCESSORIES: If your support or accessory doesn't fit, we are happy to exchange it for another size (all shipping costs to be paid by the customer).

If your item is outside of the relevant returns period, or the problem is not covered by the warranty, we can usually still repair or alter your item at a reasonable cost.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY WETSUIT?Taking good care of your wetsuit will help you get the most life out of your suit. Follow our simple tips every time you use your wetsuit: 1. RINSE IN COLD WATER AFTER USE Rinse your wetsuit in cold, fresh water after every use. Do not rinse it in hot water (as hot water damages the flexibility of the neoprene, and your wetsuit), put it in the washing machine, bleach or dry clean. 2. DRY IN SHADE AFTER RINSING Turn your wetsuit inside out, lie it flat or hang it on a wetsuit hanger, and put it in the shade. Keep your wetsuit out of the sun, as UV rays can damage the neoprene causing it to age faster. Be careful of normal clothes hangers, as your suit will be very heavy when wet, and the heavy weight of your wetsuit can cause the shoulders of your suit to stretch-out and degrade. Wetsuit hangers are specially designed with a thick and wide design to take stress off the shoulders of your wetsuit. Drying your wetsuit inside out helps protect it from UV rays and means the inside of your suit will be dry the next time you put it on! Do not dry your wetsuit in the tumble dryer. 3. STORE IN A COOL PLACE You should store your wetsuit in a cool place, out of the sun – and especially not in the car. Hot environments damage the neoprene, making it age faster. Lie your wetsuit flat or hang it on a wetsuit hanger; don’t fold or scrunch it as it can cause creasing and damage to the neoprene.
